Hailing from Staten Island, New York, Rocco is a junior in the School of Foreign Service, pursuing a major in International History and a minor in German. At Georgetown, Rocco is active as a Web Editor and blog writer for Bossier Magazine and has worked as an assistant in the German Department. Rocco plans to use his time in Freiburg to become fully immersed with the German language, German culture, and the German people. Freiburg’s central location in Europe provides a prime location to explore many areas of the continent and do research in line with Rocco’s area of study, the history and development of European monarchies. Rocco hopes to have a host of new, fulfilling, and education experiences while abroad, and plans to make the most of this amazing opportunity!
