It is 4:20 am here, and I cannot sleep. My heart is beating so fast, I feel like it will leap right out of my chest. I keep refreshing the New York Times page and seeing which states Obama has won, which McCain has won. I think I might pass out from sheer nervousness and excitement. I have an essay to hand-write which I have not done yet. I finished the essay itself since 10 pm but I just need to copy it from my computer onto a piece of looseleaf to hand it in because my professor prefers handwritten work– but I’m too much of a bundle of nerves to do even that! Oh God…this election is something else! I think I might have to make myself a cup of tea to relax….if I can pry myself away from the computer!!
