So while Claire may be looking for a pair of earmuffs to block out the noise in Tokyo, I’m looking for the volume dial to turn things up here in Prague.
It’s pretty astonishing to be in a big city and, at the same time, to feel like you’re in a library. Sure, it’s not always silent everywhere, but in trams, on the metro, on sidewalks and in restaurants, everything is just a little quieter here.
